Product description
The 5.74cm (2.26") optical axis height provides instant and easier use of the sight while wearing electronic ear/communication headphones, night vision goggles and gas masks, and allows for faster visual processing of the battlefield by promoting a head-up posture. This position also helps users maintain a neutral spine position that is more comfortable when wearing helmets, vests and other heavy equipment.
The FAST™ FTC magnifier mounts feature the first-ever Flip-To-Center (FTC) mechanism (patent pending), which allows the magnifier to be stored completely within the space of the weapon's receiver without obstructing the optic's view. This provides the greatest range of optical capabilities with the lowest profile in all modes of operation. The revolutionary FTC feature completely solves the problem posed by previous flip-to-side magnifier mounts (when disconnected, the magnifier hangs off the side of the weapon, posing a serious snagging hazard). The FAST™ FTC magnifier mount completely eliminates this danger and uses a "force-to-overcome" mechanism for a quick transition. Designed for Aimpoint® magnifiers (3XMag-1, 3X-C) and some other 30mm magnifiers.
